Unresolved Trauma
Psychic trauma occurs when a sudden, unexpected, intense, overwhelming blow or many blows assault the individual from the outside.
The trauma may not be the problem in itself; the trauma may not do the damage. It’s how the individual’s mind and body react in to the traumatic experience.
Trauma is a very in-depth complicated subject. It can result in Post-Traumatic Stress, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Disassociative Identity Disorder.
Usually Trauma is a specialised field of work and I have specific training and experience in this field.
Various events of events can cause PTSD:
- Childbirth
- Road accidents
- Prolonged sexual abuse
- Witnessing violent deaths
- Natural disasters such as earth quakes and tsunamis
- Military combat
- Terrorist attacks
